 Well... we spent quite a bit of time on the phone with the owner of this brokerage and we have to say that one of the things that impressed us most about Rivera Maya Real Estate Group is that they're very conscious of the market as a whole. Having been around for so long, they look at everything they and other agents do through the lens of "how will this affect the Mexican real estate industry's reputation". They're in it for the long haul and focused on protecting the industry's reputation in other countries and their actions reflect that.

 One of the things we like the most about Paraiso is that they work with legal professionals from out of state. While this may seem like a drawback at first, there's a reason for this. There is a lot of corruption and scamming in tulum. Working with long established professionals from older cities such as Merida and Chetumal, they're able to reduce the risk for their clients.

 As everybody knows, the lack of a formal MLS makes comparative market analysis difficult in Tulum and most of Mexico. Something we really like about Bruno Real Estate is that he takes the time to call current and sold listings to get a listing price and selling price. Not only does this help keep a pulse on the market but also gives him the raw data needed for the CMA. This is a step that many real estate agents skip, even in Canada and the US.
